my eyes green with envy
my mind inflated with pride
my feet restlessly searching
the ground, it has long been denied
ceaselessly fighting for me
my hands, two soft balloons
my nose sniffing the corners
for a way out, just some way out
my ears tuned acutely
to the unheard lullabies
and the world looks down on me demanding
